The Samyang 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC AE lens for NIKON is the Auto Exposure (AE) version for Nikon DSLRS. The Samyang 135 mm is a full frame compatible prime telephoto offering a fast f2.0 aperture. Its a manual focus telephoto lens and offers vibrant colour and soft out-focusing area (bokeh) which makes it an ideal lens to shoot close portraits, night scenery, wildlife and journalism photography etc. Lens construction is 11 elements in 7 groups, 1 ED lens element with a floating type design, it features one Extra low dispersion lens element (ED) for maximum optical performance and offers extremely low chromatic aberrations. A circular aperture of f2.0 with 9 blades offer great bokeh for close head and shoulder portrait work, and short telephoto. To ensure high contrast and faithful colour reproduction, all lens elements have been covered with Samyang's multi-layered UMC anti-reflective coatings. Supplied with removable lens hood, and front and rear lens caps. The Nikon AE (Auto Exposure) version of the Samyang 135mm features an electronic circuit / CPU which allows for full control of exposure parameters accessible from Nikon Digital SLR cameras, including i-TTL flash communication with EXIF data.
