    Sharp Ultra-Wide Zoom for mFT

Theres not many native, Ultra wide angle autofocus lenses for mFT, and my choice was between the Olympus 7-14mm f2.8 PRO or the Panasonic 7-14mm f/4.0. The Olympus offers an extra stop, better build quality, for not much more money. Neither has image stabilisation in the lens, and is not really needed for ultra wide angle anyway.
1: The build quality of the Olympus 7-14mm is superb. Feels heavy in the hands, and is a substantial piece of glass. zoom feels smooth and precise, and much better than the Panasonic 7-14mm in my opinion.
2: Image quality is superb across all focal lengths and apertures - very consistent. Only extreme corners can be improved on stopping down from wide open.
3: Fast and precise AF performance.
    4: Constant f/2.8
5: Very close focusing ability, with good focus and bokeh.
    6. Manual snap selection focus ring is very convenient and useful
    7. Good for astro photography at f/2.8.
    8. Great on Olympus or Panasonic bodies

    1. Extreme corners soft wide open. Stop down to f/4 - f/8 for super sharpness from corner to corner
    2. No filter ring and bulbous front element means limited filter options. There are some third party solutions they will add to the size and bulk of the lens. This is rather a pain for landscapes if you do want to use filters and travel small and light.

This is a fantastic Ultra Wide Angle lens for both Olympus and Panasonic mFT. Very high quality lens. Recommended, but just be aware of limited filter options.
