New Sony Cyber-shot Cameras for 2012.
The latest round of announcements from Sony UK revolve around their new DSC Cyber-shot range of compact cameras, bridge cameras and waterproof cameras.
The Sony HX200V, the new bridge type camera, provides the ultimate in performance. The robust form incorporates a 18.2 megapixel CMOS Exmor sensor and a massive 30x optical zoom lens with a 27-810mm 35mm eqv. Furthermore it features a high resolution 3" articulated LCD, full 50p HD movie recording and high speed shooting capability.
Want a pocket super-zoom? Look no further than the new offerings from Sony. There are four new models, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX20V, HX10V, H90 and WX100. The HX20V and HX10V share the same new processor and 18.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, high quality 3.0" LCD and 1080p movie mode. The differ by their styling and optical zoom range, the HX20V having 20x and the HX10V 16x. The H90 offers similar features to the HX10V but with a slightly more budget feel, providing lesser resolution sensor, LCD and movie recording. Finally, there is the DSC WX100. Ultra compact, but still giving a 10x optical zoom lens and many of the features of the former mentioned HX20V.
Waterproof, shock-proof and freeze-proof, the Sony TX20 is the smallest* "tough" camera to date. Ultra slim, stylish camera offering a high specification. Features a 18.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, 4x zoom lens, very high resolution LCD and superior video mode.
All these models will be available in March - May 2012, Price yet to be confirmed.
