More new additions to the popular Panasonic Lumix range.
The latest announcement from Panasonic UK highlights their commitment to providing advancements in compact digital cameras. The Lumix DMC TZ30 and TZ25 are the newest versions of the 'travel zoom' range. The TZ30 has class leading performance, utilising the venus engine processor and the high speed 14.1 megapixel MOS sensor. Furthermore, the TZ30 gives total versatility by the inclusion of a powerful 20x optical zoom lens to Leica standards. Additionally, the lens has the usual optical stabilisation. The Panasonic TZ25 is a minor upgrade to the current TZ18 model. New features include a larger and high resolution LCD and an advanced processor.
The Lumix FT4 and FT20 are the latest incarnations of rugged, all-weather cameras. The FT4 has a 12M water-proofing, 2M shock-proofing and a built-in compass, GPS, altimeter and barometer. The FT20 is a budget model for everyday use to protect against droppage (1.5M shock-proofing) and water (5M depth). A great camera for the family holiday!
These models are due to be released in either late March / Arpil 2012. Pricing has yet to be confirmed.
