Pentax SMC DA 16-50mm f2.8 ED-IF AL SDM Lens

The Pentax SMC 16-50mm DA 1:2.8 lens offers an equivalent range of 24-75mm on a 35mm film camera. This lens is classed as a ultra-fast multi-purpose versatile lens for those wide angle through to portrait photography.

Both extra dispersion (ED) lens elements and super coatings give an all round optimal performance, sharp crisp image even in low light. Ease of use is also enhanced with the aid of “Quick Shift Focus System” for quickly switching between AF and MF.

A new SDM system has been incorporated for smoother, quieter autofocusing operation using a built-in supersonic motor. Also Tightly sealed, weather-resistant and dust-resistant construction to enhance durability for use in rain or dusty conditions.

The Pentax 16-50mm ED lens is also very compact and lightweight, and offers a high aperture providing high contrast, edge to edge sharpness and ultimate resolution.
